Victor Harbor and Great Ocean Road

I can't believe that it's been more than six months since the last post!
I've been playing with something else (an Android phone) and, because I'm a bit single-minded, I've spent virtually no time on my photography.

However, I did visit family in and around Adelaide, so I made sure that I spent some time reacquainting myself with my camera.

The first part of the trip was focused on catching up with niece, nephew, sister, and mother.
My nephew does some wonderful photography of individuals and weddings (check out his web site www.derekmcclure.com.au). Here are some photos he took of me whilst I visited them.

I didn't expect to take many photos and, consequently, there are only a few from Victor Harbor. The weather was mainly overcast, which also contributed to the small number of photos - I need sunlight! So here are a couple. I was captivated by the brilliant colour of the water, especially as it contrasted with the dull yellow/brown of the dried fields. Compare it with a similar photo I took when I was down there few years ago.

I also took some dawn images - I love the colours your get at this time of day.

I returned home from Adelaide via the long and scenic route of the Great Ocean Road and the NSW South Coast. I was quite prepared to not get any photos due to the overcast and rainy weather, however, there was still enough sunlight to give some very moody photos.

These two are my favourites.

You can see all (13) the photos I took  in the Nature/Coastal, Nature/Various, Nature/Victor Harbor, and Nature/Water's Edge galleries. Of course, you can also see them all in the Recent gallery.
